Former Minister of Aviation, Senator Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi, has become the latest member of the Peoples Democratic Party to join the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Oduah was welcomed to the ruling party on Thursday in Abuja, according to the Nation.
The Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, received her in a brief ceremony in Abuja on Thursday.
A statement by the APC Director of Publicity Salisu Na’inna Dambatta in Abuja on Thursday evening said the party Chairman assured the former Minister that despite being a new member, the party will accord her all the rights and privileges of all bona fide members of the party.
“You (Oduah) will enjoy the privileges enjoyed by all members of the party because you will have a waiver,” Buni assured.
