A 50-year-old man was reportedly stabbed to death by his 52-year-old elder brother during a heated disagreement in Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo District of the Northern Region of Ghana.
The disagreement transpired during a dog meat ritual in memory of their late father.
MyNewsGh.com reports that the brothers, Nwenle Takia, 52, and Bignani Takia, 50, fought over the cooked dog meat and a small goat after the ritual had been performed.
The 52-year-old elder brother reportedly stabbed the deceased on his left armpit, his left breast and his testis.
His body was sent to the Faith Community hospital where post- mortem examination was performed.
The body has since been released to the family for burial while Nwenle Takia is in police custody.
