Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tracy, has opened up about her unexpected discovery of her athletic side during her time in the house, describing the experience as a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
The reality TV star, whose real name is Uchenna Ekwe, was recently evicted from the ongoing 10/10 edition of the show.
Reflecting on her performance in the arena games and physical challenges, Tracy said the show revealed aspects of herself she hadn’t fully explored before.
“During my time in the house, I discovered strengths I didn’t know I had. I realized I’m athletic and excel in arena games, which was a pleasant surprise. My tolerance and patience were also tested, and I’m proud of how I navigated challenging situations,” she said.
Her competitive spirit also shone through when she became the first female housemate to win the coveted Head of House title. “Winning the Head of House (HOH) title was a significant achievement, especially as the first female winner. I didn’t see myself winning it, but I’m glad I did. It was a great experience, and I’m proud of myself for coming out on top,” she reflected.
Despite her competitive edge, Tracy maintained meaningful connections in the house, especially with fellow housemate Zita. “One of the most meaningful relationships I formed in the house was with Zita. Zita was my rock in the house. She’s an amazing person, and I’ll always cherish the memories we made together. Her support and companionship made a significant difference in my experience,” she said.
As she sets her sights on life beyond Big Brother Naija, Tracy shared her major goal of returning to academics. “After the show, I plan to pursue my Master’s degree, furthering my education and expanding my knowledge in my field of study. I’m excited to take the skills and knowledge I’ve gained from this experience and apply them to my future endeavors, including pursuing my Master’s degree,” she stated.
She also expressed a desire to explore her passion for cooking, saying she wants to inspire others through creative, accessible meals. “The experience in the house has boosted my confidence and validated my ability to lead and make strategic decisions under pressure,” she added.
Looking back at her time on the show, Tracy described it as a period of transformation. “As I look back on my journey, I’m grateful for the lessons learned and the connections made. The Big Brother Naija experience has been transformative. It’s pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a person. I’m grateful for the lessons learned and the connections made,” she said.
With her athleticism, resilience, and ambitions for the future, Tracy is eager to explore new opportunities and build on the foundation she has laid during her BBNaija journey.
