Everton wrapped up matchweek four games with a 3-1 comeback victory against Burnley at Goodison Park on Monday night.

Rafa Benitez’s side have now won three of their four opening games of the 2021/22 EPL season, as well as a draw.

The hosts were not entirely dominant in the first half which ended goalless as Burnley proved to be difficult.

However, Sean Dyches’ Clarets broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute through Ben Mee to put the hosts under pressure.

But the deficit proved to be the trigger for The Toffees as they fought back to bag the all-important equaliser seven minutes later through Michael Keane’s header.

Five minutes later, Andros Townsend who assisted the equaliser put Everton up for the first time in the game with a possible goal of the week contender.

The visitors were torn apart and just a minute after going behind Demaria Gray nailed The Clarets to the coffin with a third which sealed the win for the hosts.

The victory took Benitez’s men to fourth position on the Permier League table.

Everton are levelled on 10 points with leaders, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool in second and third place respectively.

The Merseysiders have won consecutive league matches when conceding the first goal (also vs Southampton on MD1). The Toffees had won just two of their previous 59 Premier League games when conceding the first goal (D13 L44).
