Italy continued their perfect run in the ongoing EURO 2020 championship by defeating Wales 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico Stadium in Rome on Sunday.
The Italians were the first team to enter the next round after winning their last match against Switzerland by 3-0, a repeat of the scoreline in their opening match against Turkey.
Matteo Pessina sealed the win against Wales with a 39th-minute goal just as Ethan Ampadu got sent off in the 55th minute.
