Erykah set to release incense ‘Badu’s P—y,’that smells like her v*gin@
Erica Abi Wright professionally known as Erykah Badu has revealed that she would be releasing an incense called “Badu’s P—y,” that smells like her own vagina.
The R&B legend said she would be releasing this on her soon-to-launch online store.
The smell down there is having a moment; she says…
The Badu incense is the second vagina-scented product to make headlines this year after Gwyneth Paltrow’s $75 “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle quickly sold out on her website, Goop.
The four-time Grammy winner, 48, tells 10 magazine that the scent — which she described as praising her “superpower” — will be sold on her online store, Badu World Market, which is expected to open Feb. 20.
The “On & On” singer said the perfume was created by burning her old panties — because she no longer wears them and prefers to go commando.
“I took lots of pairs of my panties, cut them up into little pieces and burned them,” Badu told 10 magazine. “Even the ash is part of it.”
In a 2014 tweet, Badu described a “secret” about how she gets her vagina to smell sweet.
“Ladies…For a SWEET vagina I Drink raw cranberries often,” she tweeted. “Now the secrets out. (Reluctantly).”
Badu, known as the “Queen of Neo-Soul,” has often been a controversial figure — having been perceived to defend sexual deviants Bill Cosby and R. Kelly after the release of the Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly.”
In 2010, Badu was given a citation for disorderly conduct in her hometown of Dallas and for appearing nude in Dealey Plaza while filming her music video for “Window Seat,” the Dallas Morning News reported at the time.
