Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory against Burnley in their second Premier League game of the 2021/22 season.

Diogo Jota scored his second goal of the season by netting an 18th minute opener for Jurgen Klopp’s men, sending the home crowd wild in jubilation.
Mohammed Salah gave the home side a 2-0 lead in the 27th minute but the goal was ruled out by VAR, keeping the visitors in the game as Klopp’s men entered the game with a slender lead.
Sadio Mane finally got the second goal for Liverpool in the 69th minute and it stood as the Reds took all three points to go top of the summit pending other Matchday two fixtures.
