The Premier League has expressed its willingness to make more money from selling its TV rights in the UK from 2025.

Right now, 200 games per season are shown on TV in the UK and the deal lasts until 2024/25. It is worth about £4.8 billion.

According to BBC Sports, there will still be no live games on Saturday afternoons to help the lower leagues get more fans.

But some games that are moved to Sundays because of European games will be shown live for the first time.

There will also be more live games from some midweek rounds and the last round of the season.

The Premier League is asking for offers for a four-year deal until 2028/29, instead of the usual three-year deal.

This is the first time the Premier League is selling its TV rights since 2016. The current deal was extended for three more years because of the coronavirus pandemic.

There will be five packages with between 42 and 65 live games for broadcasters to bid on.

Sky Sports has 128 games, TNT Sports has 52 games and Amazon has 20 games in the current deal.
