North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur seem to have something in common this season – both teams have been running a winless campaign in the 2019/2020 season of the English Premier League (EPL) and it continued this weekend.
While Spurs were held to a draw at home by Sheffield United on Saturday, the Gunners lost 2-0 away to Leicester City.
Meanwhile, Chelsea notched a sixth successive Premier League win as they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 to move into second spot briefly on Saturday but are now back at third spot after Leicester beat Arsenal to go second.
Leicester and Chelsea both have 26 points from 12 matches, but Leicester moved ahead with 21 goals difference while The Blues have 10.
Burnley crushed West Ham United 3-0 to pile the pressure on Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini, but Everton’s Marco Silva finally found some cheer as his side won 2-1 at Southampton.
Newcastle United claimed a second successive win as they beat Bournemouth 2-1 to climb into mid-table.
