The Premier League clash between Manchester City and Liverpool on November 25 has been moved to a 12:30pm kickoff to avoid fan trouble.
The decision was made by the local safety advisory group, which includes the police, following a number of issues at previous matches between the two sides.
The game was originally scheduled to kick off at 5:30pm, but the concerns over fan trouble led to the change of kickoff time
Arsenal’s trip to Brentford, which was originally scheduled to kick off at 12:30pm, has been moved to the 5:30pm slot as a result.
Discussions are ongoing over Liverpool’s ticket allocation for the fixture.
Liverpool’s allocation was cut by 20% in the wake of numerous incidents of trouble, including a 15-year-old girl being struck by a pot weighted with coins that had been hurled from the visiting area.
