VIDEO: Singer Kizz Daniel arrested in Tanzania
Popular Nigerian singer-songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly called kizz Daniel, has been detained by Dar es Salaam’s Oysterbay police in Tanzania.
The Buga crooner was reportedly arrested for failing to perform at the Summer Amplified concert at the Warehouse arena in the city – Tanzania’s commercial hub.
As seen in a viral video, the venue of the event appeared to be destroyed as video bottles were shelled onto an empty stage after it emerged that the main act of the night would be a no-show.
Kizz Daniel was later seen arriving at the police station in the authority’s pick-up van alongside two other people believed to be part of the singer’s management team.
In one of the videos, several voices in the background are heard asking him to apologize, with one telling him “I warned you this would happen”.
