VIDEO: Rapper Cardi B officiates wedding for lesbian couple
Grammy award-winning rapper, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, has officiated a same-sex wedding in the latest episode of her Facebook Messenger video series, “Cardi Tries.”
The mother of two had announced on Twitter that she’s licensed to ‘marry people’
The rapper shared moments from the wedding as the lesbian lovers tied the knot.
She said, “By the way WORLD I’m licensed to marry people ….sooo yea… I do it all and this was such a fulfilling thing to do and Raven was soo fun I was sooo starstruck.”
The episode which was released to celebrate the National Coming Out Day was filmed in July, just weeks before Cardi B gave birth to her and husband Offset’s second child together.
“I LOVE love! 😍 Me and @RavenSymone are helping a happy couple say ‘I do”, she captioned a video from the wedding shared on her Instagram page.
