Minutes after he slapped Chris Rock over a joke he made about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, being bald, Will Smith was captured on camera receiving comforting hugs from two notable American actors, Denzel Washington and Bradley Cooper, at the 2022 Oscars.

In the trending video, Washington was seen approaching Smith during the commercial break to console him.

Th Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Feinberg shared the clip via his Twitter account on Sunday night.

Feinberg wrote, “During the commercial break, Will Smith is pulled aside and comforted by Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry, who motion for him to brush it off.

“Will appears to wipe tears from his eyes as he sits back down with Jada, with Denzel comforting Jada and Will’s rep by his side.”
