Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie's wife, May Edochie, has stated that men of this generation don’t care or bother to appreciate ladies who helped them while they were still struggling.

May was reacting to what the former US president, Barack Obama, requested of men.

Obama had asked men never to forget a woman who helped them build themselves and stood by them when they had nothing.

He urged men to be in paradise with their women if they were in hell with them when they had.

But May said that could not be said for men in this generation.

She said, "Not for this generation...."

Her reaction, however, has elicited some reactions too.

A follower by the name @successgolden said the same is true of women not just men.

He said, "But the women now a day's ain't ready to be with such men any more to build rather the already made is what they want."

@edewor4uall could not agree less as he also said, "This days, it's hard to even see a woman that would wants to stand by any man who doesn't have anything. Even those that were sent to school by their fiancee, end up marrying someone else, with the evil excuses of, I can't marry him, cause he's not educated."

Another fan who goesc by the name, iamladyv said, "Not for this generation indeed both gender get issues like this, stick with a man to make it 'mba' ok the one wey stick with a man kwanu boom she is not my type of woman 🙄 God help us
