Rudeboy hits one million subscribers, receives gold plaque from YouTube

Nigerian singer and record producer, Paul Okoye a.k.a Rudeboy has received a gold plaque from YouTube for hitting one million subscribers.

Rudeboy, in a post via his Instagram handle, @iamkingrudy, announced his latest achievement to his supportive fans with words of appreciation to them.

In his caption, Rudeboy thanked YouTube and also revealed that he got a hundred million views on a single track

“Thank you very much @youtube Dear #firedepartment it’s GOLD baby!! 1m subscribers and 100m views on a single track musically rude @lorrdsky we did it,” he wrote.

The singer in the video clip showed off the gold plaque sent to him from the headquarters, whilst also acknowledging his fans for earning him an earlier silver YouTube plaque which he got when he surpassed a hundred thousand subscribers.

After the disbandment of P-Square in 2017, both band members sought separate musical careers.

Rudeboy released his debut solo tracks titled ‘Fire Fire’ and ‘Nkenji Keke’ in 2017.

His song “Reason With Me” generated the highest views on Youtube in Africa in 2019.
