Netizens have reacted after popular media personality, Betty Irabor, has urged married people to stay in touch with friends and family, saying marriage can subtly isolate one from such reality.

Betty had stated in a Facebook post on Tuesday that sometimes one may feel his spouse or partner is all he needs, stressing that one will realize one day just how much one needs a good support system.

Her submission has received a mixed bag of reactions ,with a considerable number of people disclosing that isolation, at times, is a personal decision and not a result of one’s marital status.

“You may feel your partner is all you need but oneday you will realize just how much you need a good support system,” she said.
