Son of the late Pa Josiah Akindayomi, founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Ife Akindayomi has joined other youths and ministers of the Church to shave off his hair.
The shaving of hair by many youths and pastors in the Church was to honour late Pastor Dare Adeboye, the third son of RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Adeboye’s second son, Leke, on Monday evening shared a picture of Akindayomi’s shaved head.
He captioned the post:
“Pastor Ife Akindayomi son of the founder of RCCG #forPDee #NotTodaySatan.”
Dare died in his sleep last Tuesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. He was aged 42.

Pa Akindayomi founded the RCCG in 1952. After his death in 1980, Adeboye assumed the position of general overseer the following year.
Despite becoming the Church’s leader at a period when RCCG was not well known, Adeboye, now 79, has expanded it to about 200 countries, including more than 14 million branches in Nigeria.
