Media personality and 'baby girl for life' inventor, Toke Makinwa, has wowed her fans and followers with gorgeous photos of herself as she turns 37 on Wednesday.
Makinwa, in an Instagram post, reminisced on how far she has come as a person, considering all the sacrifices and hurdles she went through just to attain certain goals.
Sharing stunning photos of her adorned in a red velvet dress, she said; "Thank you for 36. I will never forget this year. It’s time for 37. God. Me. Family. A few good men.
"Welcome to my year of abundance 🙏
Happy birthday to me.
In another post she said; "Omotoke…..
"You’ve come so far, isn’t it crazy that as a little girl you dreamed about the life you live now.
"It hasn’t come without a lot of sacrifice but it’s always worth it.
"Happy birthday to that little girl with nothing but dreams who has now grown into a woman of purpose.
"Thank you lord for 365 days of you," she said.
Recall that in 2010, Makinwa made her major media debut on Rhythm 93.7 FM's The Morning Drive show as a co-host.
In 2012, she made a television appearance as host of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant, which was broadcast live across Nigeria.
She co-hosted Flytime TV's 3 Live Chicks, along with Tosyn Bucknor and Oreka Godis.
The show debuted as a web series before expanding to terrestrial television in late 2012.
Makinwa did not renew her contract with Flytime TV for the show's second season and was subsequently replaced by her radio colleague Omalicha.
In 2012, Makinwa launched her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments.
In 2013 she won the Nigeria Broadcasters Award for Outstanding Female Presenter of the Year.
She was nominated for 'Radio OAP of the Year' in the Nigeria Entertainment Awards and that same year, she became an ambassador of the United Africa Company of Nigeria.
The latest 37-year-old is the show host for Nigerian Television Series, Gulder Ultimate Search.
