Hollywood actors paid tributes to Ukraine during the red carpet at the 2022 Oscars award ceremony amid the ongoing war with Russia.
The 94th Academy Awards ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 27, 2022.
Aquaman actor, Jason Mamoa, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jamie Lee Curtis led the tributes with their outfits, with plenty using a blue ribbon as a gesture of solidarity, according to UK Metro.
63-year-old Knives Out actress Curtis held up a blue ribbon in support of refugees as she posed on the red carpet.
Aquaman actor, Momoa, donned a handkerchief in the colours of the Ukrainian flag – blue and yellow – in his pocket.
Meanwhile, Doctor Strange actor, Benedict, 45, also sported the Ukrainian flag colours, in a pin on his suit jacket.
Diane Warren, 65, who donned a bold green jacket, also wore a blue ribbon on her lapel in solidarity with refugees.
