Five things to know about Nigerian Idol winner, Progress Chukwuyem
Progress Chukwuyem emerged this season’s winner of seventh edition of singing contest, the Nigerian Idol, on Sunday.
He beat his closest competitor, Zadok, to win the N100million grand prize.
Find below are some things you probably did not know about Progress:
1. Progress is 21 years old.
2. He hails from Delta State.
3. Apart from being a singer, Progress is also a songwriter, performer and music minister.
4. Some of the prizes he got include cash prize of N30 million, a new SUV, he will also get to record an EP and a music video, among other gifts.
5. Before going for the show, Progress revealed he taught music to some kids from the slum areas of Iyara in Warri, Delta State.
