Award winning Afro pop singer, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2Baba, on Saturday admitted that he is imperfect, adding that, just as every human, he is prone to mistakes.

The “African Queen” crooner also affirmed that being a work in progress, he is keen on striving to be the best version of himself.

His near-remorseful post via Instagram on Saturday is coming at the height of the lingering marital issues that he has with his wife, Annie.

Recall that his decision to leave the country came after Annie accused him of being sexually involved again with his baby mama, Pero.

The messy marital scandal degenerated into blame trading, counter-accusations and media trial that saw the singer’s wife being dragged by Idibia’s brother and friends.

Few days after his disappearance, WuzupNigeria reported that the ‘Implication’ singer, who had not made a single comment throughout the social media drama, was compelled to address his family crisis.

He said; “I admit that bringing family issues on social media was not cool but will not sit back and watch everybody have free for all battle here in the name of love and solidarity.”

In a new Instagram message posted on Saturday, a more relaxed 2Baba made it clear that he has made some mistakes at a point in his life and further admitted that he’s not perfect.

“I know I’m not without mistakes neither I’m I perfect but we keep learning and working and striving to become the best version of ourselves. It is well.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ME.
MAY THE ALMIGHTY GUIDE ALL OF US AND PROTECT OUR HOMES .” (sic)
