Former Big Brother Naija contestant and entrepreneur, Nina Onyenobi aka Nina Ivy, has disclosed that her recent butt enlargement surgery has made her more confident.

She made this disclosure in an interview with Saturday Beats.

Nina said her surgery was a decision she took after the birth of her first child.

According to her, until her surgery, she had always had to put on body shapers just to get that voluptuous curve she aspired to have.

“I have always wanted to make some changes to my body, especially after the birth of my child and this was a perfect time.

“Since I made that decision, I feel great and love my body more. I always had to wear body shapers with certain outfits but now, I don’t have to.

“My advice to people who troll celebrities that undergo cosmetic surgery is that they should channel their energy into what will benefit them and let people live their lives.”

Meanwhile, Nina’s butt surgery had stirred a major controversy online as a brand, Mav Herbals, she signed a deal with called her out for confusing their fans by going ahead with the surgery.

The popular Nigerian herbal body sculpting brand also vowed to deal with her after claiming that she used the endorsement deal money she was paid to carry out her BBL plastic surgery.

“@nina_ivy_ @nina_ivy_ how in the world do I explain to people about this damage you have done to my brand???? Barely 3weeks you signed a deal with me you went ahead to use the money to do plastic surgery.

“Why didn’t you finish the deal as promised since you already collected money from me, I paid you millions of naira. Asides from the fact that I am collecting my full balance back from you, I need a public apology for the confusion you have caused today on social media.

“I am the least person to be messed with because I know how hard I have worked for my brand, is it a bad thing I paid you to influence for me????

“You are liking posts and being shady thinking you can step on anyone’s toes, it’s the fact that since all this you silly girl haven’t even reached out to me to apologize personally!!! @nina_ivy_ you have messed with the wrong person because me I am coming for you!!!!” Mav herbals said.

Speaking on the issue, Nina said, “Before signing the deal, I had informed my then-manager, Femi, of Wynerz Talent, that I was booked to undergo surgery. Femi came with the proposal from Mav Herbals and I had categorically told the company’s CEO that I was going for surgery. She (the CEO) agreed to still go ahead with the deal.

“It was a surprise to find out that she made a post about me not working with her without speaking to me first about it and this happened before I began my ‘influencing’ with the hospital I had my surgery with.

“This same contract was discussed with her and Femi. Meanwhile, there is no clause in my contract that states that I cannot undergo surgery while representing her.

“I have been a loyal and dedicated brand ambassador and influencer to numerous brands over the years. I have never had any issue with any of the brands I have worked with. The publications on different blogs and constant trolling made by her have caused defamation of my character and my legal team is on it.”
