Singer and mother of one, Tiwa Savage, has congratulated one of Nigeria's rave of the moment, Tems, on her Grammy nomination.

The development is coming against the backdrop of heavy criticism by Twitter users who accused her of not showing support to her female colleagues who have been nominated.

In reaction, the 41-year-old congratulated Tems in an Instagram post on Thursday.

Tiwa also congratulated Benniese-American music icon Angelique Kidjo on her Grammy nomination.

She said, “Big win but I’m especially. Excited for my Queens ooo. Tems Baby and Angelique Kidjo.”

Whether by omission or commission, the 'Koloba' failed to give any mention to the duo of Wizkid, Burna Boy and Femi Kuti who many fans are also juggernauts in the Grammy category.

Tems was nominated for Best Global Music Performance for ‘Essence,’ her collaboration with Wizkid.

Tiwa, however, did not congratulate her at the time which sparked reactions from Twitter users, accusing her of not supporting her female colleagues in the music industry.
