Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has lamented the death of Vanguard reporter, Tordue Salem, whose body was found after he was declared missing about a month ago.

Reacting to the devastating news, the 'Country Hard' rapper in an Instagram post on Friday, blamed his death on the state of insecurity in Nigeria.

He said; “The Vanguard journalist he was declared missing in Abuja he was now found but found dead. what killed him or who killed him?

“What is his offence? He was proudly Nigerian @61, I’m not. He was a husband his wife would see him no more and as a father his daughter will see him no more. What kind of country is this?”

WuzupNigeria reported that Salem, who had gone missing for the past twenty eight days was found dead in Abuja.

He was said to have visited a garden close to the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory before he went missing on October 13.

However, Abuja Police authorities announced on Friday that they have apprehended a 29-year-old cab driver, Itoro Clement, in connection with his death.

A sober-looking Clement was paraded at the force headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory for reportedly knocking down and killing the journalist with his Toyota Camry.

The late Salem was responsible for reporting the affairs of the House of Representatives.
