Davido’s N100m contest proves youths can fund, win presidential election, says Yul Edochie
Nollywood star and an aspirant in the 2023 presidential election, Yul Edochie, has said that crowdfunding can really help youths win a presidential election.
He said the singer and songwriter, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido has proved that it is possible with his N100m challenge.
On Wednesday Davido had realised over N100m a few hours after he tweeted that his WEMA bank account should credited in support to clear his Rolls Royce from the port.
Yul decided to post on his verified Instagram account about this awesome feat staged by Davido where he thanked him for proving it’s possible for a youth to win a presidential election.
He also posted GTB account details for support to kick start his presidential campaign.
He said, “Thank you to Davido for proving it’s possible…I’ve always said it…The biggest challenge facing any youth presidential candidate is funding…Elections are won with billions…With crowdfunding, we can raise enough money to kick start our campaign and win”.
