Popular Nollywood actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, on Tuesday anounced that he is set to be discharged from hospital after recuperating from a brief illness.

The actor was seen getting a haircut at the hospital in a recent video.

He wrote: “Set to be discharged from the hospital, getting my hair cut. Praise God!”

WuzupNigeria earlier reported that Mr Ibu spoke up about his health shortly after his wife beseeched Nigerians to pray for the actor who was still recuperating in the hospital.

While dispelling speculation that he was spiritually attacked in the village, the comedian revealed that he was poisoned at an event in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
