Controversial gay rights activist and writer, Ademola Iyandade Ojo Kazeem Alimi, popularly known as Bisi Alimi has bemoaned the strained relationship with himself and his biological mum.

Alimi explained that she consistently blackmailed him emotionally until he decided to give her space.

He further stated that although she wanted to make amends by trying to establish a relationship with him, but the ship has sailed.

Citing his personal experience, Alimi implored parents to desist from using emotional blackmail to get the attention of their children.
