Be better at what you do, Funke Akindele charges fans

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello has charged her fans and followers to aim at being better at whatever it is that they do.

The 45-year-old mother of two gave the advice in an Instagram post on Thursday where she further urged her fans not to do ‘pass yourself.’

She said, “Stay on your lane!!! Know your level o!!! Aim at being better in what you do but no do pass yourself.”

Funke got her breakthrough in Nollywood when she played the main character Suliyat aka Jenifa in the self-titled comedy-drama that portrays the life of a young girl struggling to make it in the big city.

With the success of the movie, the actress announced that Jenifa would be developed into a television series Jenifa’s Diaries.

Since then, Jenifa’s Diary has become a household name with 25 seasons and features celebrities such as Lota Chukwu, Falz and Lolo, Beverly Osu, JJC Skillz and many others.
