Baba Ijesha: Davido calls Yomi Fabiyi ‘mumu’ for not wearing face mask during protest

Afro-Pop singer, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has reacted to Yomi Fabiyi's protest video over the continued detention of Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha.

Recall that Baba Ijesha was arrested on allegation of molesting a 14-year-old girl.

WUZUPNIGERIA also reported that Fabiyi and a handful of demostrators on Wednesday marched from Casino Bus Stop to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti area of Yaba to demand the release of Baba Ijesha from continued detention.

They clamoured that the comedian deserves to be given granted bail until his case comes up for hearing in a competent court of justice.

Fabiyi, who has been a staunch supporter of the embattled actor, disclosed on his Instagram page that his continued detention without trial is a violation of his human rights.

During the demonstration led by Fabiyi, the protesters could be seen in the video displaying protest placards and banners.

The banners read "denial of bail for a bailable offence is human rights violation," "Nigerian police, please allow the law to dictate to you, not Iyabo Ojo, Princess, and co," "Release Baba Ijesha," and "Nigeria police must respect human rights and honor bail for a bailable offense."

The viral video obviously seemed to have piqued the DMW boss who reacted to Yomi's protest video via his social media account.

The "Omo Baba Olowo" crooner described Yomi as a stupid fellow stating that he was the only one not wearing a mask among the protesters.

Davido tweeted Yomi Fabiyi's protest video which he captioned "Notice he was the only one without a mask .. mumu."

Tweeps have also reacted to the video, attesting to Davido's assertion about Yomi Fabiyi.
