Uruguay legend Luis Suarez has predicted that England will emerge victorious against Norway in their World Cup quarter-final match on Saturday.
England, having topped Group L with two victories and a draw, are poised to confront Norway as they aim for their fourth semi-final appearance. They secured a 3-2 win against co-hosts Mexico in the round of 16.
Norway progressed to the knockout stage of the 2026 tournament by finishing second in Group I. They caused a significant upset by defeating Brazil 2-1 in their last match.
Speaking on his TikTok account, Suarez expressed his belief that Thomas Tuchel’s team will halt Norway’s remarkable journey in the current tournament.
“England vs Norway: a very exciting match, it will be closely contested, but I believe England will advance,” he said via HITC.
If the Three Lions eliminate Norway from the 2026 tournament, they will face either Argentina or Switzerland in the semi-finals.
