Activist Aisha Yesufu has hinted that the EndSARS campaigners who have been dragged to court will show up in similar attires popularly known as Abo Ebi.

The campaigners were dragged before an Abuja court by an activist, Kenechukwu Okeke, for supporting the EndSARS protests of last month.

According to him, the protests which the campaigners supported were hijacked by hoodlums who looted and the destroyed properties.

He said, “I shall instigate a private criminal prosecution against all the alleged perpetrators and coordinators of the #EndSARS riots on Twitter. The nation bled, lives lost, and properties worth billions destroyed as a result of the sheer recklessness of some persons.

“Having initiated criminal proceedings against the #EndSARS riots promoters at exactly 1052hrs WAT, 09/11/2020, we shall ensure that same is diligently prosecuted in the interest of defence, public safety and public order. The Federal Republic of Nigeria is country of laws.”

In reaction, Aisha Yesufu took to Twitter saying:

“Hello EndSARS teammates. What color of aso ebi are we sewing for our court appearance? We should do a Jerusalema dance after the court hearing.”
