Special Assistant on Digital/New Media to the President, Majo General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has lent his voice to the protests across the country.

Nigerian youths have trooped out en-mass to call for an end to police brutality by officers of the Special Anti-Terror Squad (SARS).

Speaking on his official Twitter account, Ogunlesi advised the police against harming the peaceful protesters.

“Police that should be handing out face masks and bottled water to peaceful protesters… The response to peaceful protesters protesting police brutality is not further police brutality,” he said.

Joining the movement, British entrepreneur, Frank Khalid took to his official Twitter account to lend his voice.

Disheartened by the recent happenings, Khalid said, “my heart when I see what is happening in Nigeria. So blessed to have so many Nigerians as my friends. #EndSarsNow #EndSARS”
