#EndSARS: Toke Makinwa advises Nigerians to take mental health break
Popular On-Air Personality, Toke Makinwa has urged Nigerians to take a break from the media for the sake of their mental health.
This comes after the unedited broadcast of killings across the social media as well as reports of riots and vandalism on traditional media and the internet.
She made the call via a statement on her official Twitter account on Wednesday night.
“Guys pls also take some breaks off the internet, news channel and broadcast message for your mental health. We’ve been through quite something, it’s ok if you are not ok. Give yourself a hug, a cup of tea, walk around your room and don’t forget to breathe.”

Riots have taken over after about 12 days of peaceful protests against police brutality in major cities across the nation.
Reports from Amnesty International claims that at least 12 people were killed by the Nigerian army and police in two locations in Alausa and Lekki toll gate on Tuesday.
There are also unconfirmed reports that hoodlums who ransacked and burnt various police stations killed some policemen.
