The Nigeria Police Force has advised parents and guardians to keep their children from engaging in any acts of violence.

The police gave the advice after three of its stations were attacked and burnt down by hoodlums in Benin, the Edo State capital.

Hoodlums who are alleged to be EndSARS protesters also broke into prisons in Edo State and freed the inmates.

To stop further occurrence of such, the police took to Twitter to call “on parents/guardians to prevail on their children/wards to desist from acts of violence under any guise whatsoever.”

Meanwhile, EndSARS protests have continued across the country including the Federal Capital Territory Abuja where protests have been banned.
