A report says that trouble started when police tried to disperse a crowd of protesters demanding an end to police brutality.
Some hoodlums in the midst of the protesters hurled stones at the police officers which forced them to open fire.
The police officers were outnumbered by the hoodlums who proceeded to burn their station in Ojoo.
We are deploying members of Operation Burst to various hotspots in Ibadan to arrest the situation and restore normalcy. The members of the team will continue to protect genuine protesters and their right to protest.
