Personal Assistant on New Media to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, has reacted to the reports of the second phase of the EndSARS protests.

Ahmad took to his verified Twitter page on Monday to warn Lagos youths from allowing themselves being used for another destruction in the state.

He informed that “SARS is no more”, implying that there is no need for another #EndSARS protest.

“If you’re truly a lover of Lagos, help to rebuild the recent unfortunate destructions, don’t be misled by hidden enemies of Lagos to cause the second phase of destruction and pain in the State. SARS is no more!”

Meanwhile, the president on Monday has warned against any acts of hooliganism during the protests across the country.

Speaking during Chief of Army Staff’s Annual Conference 2020 in Abuja, Buhari said: “I also wish to state that any act of hooliganism hiding behind lawful and peaceful protests will be dealt with decisively to ensure the peace and stability of our nation.”
