#EndSARS: Buhari, Buratai will see double if army, police kill any more protesters – Reno Omokri
Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has warned of the consequences the President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) and his Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Yusuf Tukur Buratai will face if security operatives kill any protesters again.
This comes after reports surfaced that #EndSARS protesters have begun a second wave of EndSARS protests in the country.
Recall that investigation is still ongoing into the alleged killing of protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020, after soldiers fired live rounds at unarmed protesters to enforce curfew placed by the Lagos State Government.
Speaking on his verified Twitter account, Omokri in a series of tweets added that the protests will not destroy the country’s economy more than Buhari had done in his five-year reign as president.
“If the Nigerian Army or Police dare kill any more peaceful, unarmed #EndSARS protesters, this time, it will be Generals #Buhari and Buratai that will end up “seeing double”. Nigerians have been pushed to the wall and they have the right to protest against an inept government.

“Those saying another round of #EndSARS will destroy our economy are blind to@reality. 5 years of General
@MBuhari has already destroyed our economy! Today’s Nigeria is like Egypt after Moses’s plagues. Our Naira is destroyed. Our security is destroyed. Our freedoms are destroyed!”
Meanwhile, the president on Monday has warned against any acts of hooliganism during the protests across the country.
Speaking during Chief of Army Staff’s Annual Conference 2020 in Abuja, Buhari said: “I also wish to state that any act of hooliganism hiding behind lawful and peaceful protests will be dealt with decisively to ensure the peace and stability of our nation.”
