Apostle Joshua Suleman and musician, David Adeleke, aka Davido have both demanded an executive order following the dismissal of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had on Sunday announced the unit’s dismissal after a series of protests in major cities in the country as well as online.

Reacting to the announcement Suleman and Davido, in separate tweets on their respective official Twitter accounts, said the announcement is not enough.

According to Suleman, “IGP just announced SARS has been dissolved…that’s not enough..we want an executive order to that effect…”

Also reacting, Davido tweeted, “It’s far from over …. we never win anything ….”

“We want an Executive order, a Legislative action & a Judicial panel of enquiry set up to prosecute those rogues. Nothing more, nothing less,” he added.
