Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Thursday, held the North-West Governors’ Forum meeting at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House.
This was brought to the fore in the pictures shared on the Twitter handle of Governor Kaduna @GovKaduna few hours ago.
It was gathered that issues of security and development top the agenda of the sensitive ongoing meeting.
There is apprehension in the region as it would be recalled that Governor El-Rufai, on Wednesday, appealed to citizens not to respond to the treatment meted on him by demonstrators in Kafanchan, Jema’a local government area on Tuesday.
The Governor and his entourage were pelted with stones and some of the vehicles were damaged after addressing some demonstrators immediately after he chaired Kaduna State Security Council meeting in the area.
