A trailer ladened with bags of rice has reportedly killed no fewer than 20 people in Iworoko Ekiti, Ekiti State.
According to reports, the trailer was carrying bags of rice belonging to Ondo State All Progressive Congress senatorial candidate, Tayo Alasoadura.
The trailer said to have developed brake failure, crashed into Iworoko market.
An unconfirmed eyewitness account said 40 people including every member of a family and 10 children were said to have died in the accident.
