Eight things to know about Anambra Governor’s son, Ozonna Soludo
Chukwuma Soludo, a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, who was sworn in as the governor of Anambra State on Thursday is blessed with six children.
One of them, Ozonna, is a talented musician, whose career many Nigerians are ignorant of.
Below are eight things you need to know about Ozonna:
1. Ozonna was born on February 11 1994, in Nigeria but grew up in the United States. The New York-based artiste graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Music in London.
2. Though the 28-year-old is not as popular as some mainstream artistes like Davido, Burna Boy or Wizkid, the young lad has equally been making waves in the music industry.
3. The singer is known for his ability to skillfully combine pop, dance, and African rhythms with other music genres. He has also continued to dazzle his fans in Nigeria and in the diaspora with his unique sounds.
4. The artiste is also a content creator, who has about 30,000 followers on his Instagram page and over 20,000 followers on Twitter. He started gaining attention in 2013 after he dropped his free promo single titled ‘Me & You On Top’.
5. His project fetched him fame in the United Kingdom. He also performed in London at several shows organised by popular artistes and music bands including Chrystal Fighters, Kyla La Grange, We Have Band and Alice Gold.
6. In 2015, the musician released a project titled ‘Believe It to See It’, which is his debut five-track extended play (EP). The project features tracks such as ‘Believe It, To See It’, ‘We Glow’, ‘Wonderland’, ‘Corrupt Mind’ and ‘Smile’.
7.The UK based artiste is quite popular in Europe, he has performed at many shows and concerts in London and Dublin.
8. The artiste who attended over 15 schools home and abroad reveals that his dad was always getting jobs that took him away from places.
