Eight suspects arrested over alleged illegal tax activity
No fewer than eight suspected impostors have been arrested by the Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS) taskforce on illegal roadblocks for allegedly defrauding unsuspecting taxpayers.
Newsmen learnt that the suspects identified as Mnder Terlumun, Terese Tumase and Gandepuun Agabi were arrested at Gbanyam in Buruku LGA.
Two other suspects identified as Liambee Asange and Yisa Zegeiya were arrested at Sati Ikyov in Ushongo LGA and Terhemba Ordue alongside Terna Akosu at GRA Kwande LGA.

Also apprehended was one Abugh Gondo who was found operating at Wannune, Mbaagwa, Kwande Local Government Area.
