Eight persons were roasted to death on Tuesday as a loaded petrol tanker was hit by a container-laden truck and the tanker burst into flames.
The impact was said to have ignited the fire.
The accident, our correspondent gathered, occurred at Onigari Village, close to the Foursquare Gospel Church camp at Ajebo, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The tanker carrying 33,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit, was said to travelling to Ibadan while the container-laden truck was coming from Ibadan when the accident occurred.
