The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has directed the arrest of two EFCC officers accused of mistreating a female staff member during a raid at Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos.
A viral video online showed EFCC officials in plain clothes forcefully entering one of the hotel rooms.

Olukoyede has ordered a detailed investigation into the raid and assured that appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken against any officers found guilty of misconduct.
“The EFCC’s boss has also ordered detailed investigations of the operation carried out at the hotel and assured that appropriate disciplinary measures would be taken against any of the officers found to be culpable,” Uwujaren stated.
Olukoyede also reassured the public that the EFCC will continue to conduct its operations professionally and with respect for the rule of law.
“Olukoyede assures the general public that the EFCC would continue to ply its job professionally and with profound respect for the rule of law,” Uwujaren added.
