The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared two more people wanted in connection with the failed Crypto Bridge Exchange scheme, which reportedly led to the loss of over N1.3 trillion by about 600,000 Nigerians.

The two suspects, identified as Folashade Odelana, 31, and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, 32, were accused of playing major roles in the online fraud scheme that crashed in April 2025.

EFCC announced this in a statement shared on its official social media pages on Wednesday, June 4. The anti-corruption agency called on members of the public to help with any useful information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.

Part of the statement read:“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear below are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange.”

The commission said both suspects had their last known address at No. 17, Oremeta Street, Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State.

EFCC also appealed to Nigerians to reach out to its offices in Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja, or call any of the following numbers:
09-9044751-3, 08093322644, 08183322644, 07026350721-3, 0706350724-5.
They can also send an email to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or report to the nearest police station.

This brings the total number of people declared wanted over the CBEX case to 14.

The CBEX platform promised users quick and high profits through cryptocurrency trading. However, it crashed suddenly in April 2025, and many investors were unable to withdraw their funds. This led to public outcry and protests in several cities.

One victim, who lost her life savings, said,

“I invested N2 million with the hope of using the profit to start a business. Now, I have nothing left.”

The EFCC has promised to continue investigations and arrest all persons involved in the scam.
