EezeeTee accuses Apostle Anselm of bias in Mercy Chinwo, Judikay reconciliation

Ezekiel Thankgod, also known as Eezee T, has responded to the intervention of Apostle Anselm Madubuko, the founder of Revival Assembly Church, in the ongoing dispute involving gospel artist Mercy Chinwo.

Mercy Chinwo had accused her former manager of financial exploitation and betrayal, while Apostle Madubuko alleged that Eezee T had a history of financial misconduct, including similar claims from gospel singer Judikay.

In a statement shared on social media, Eezee T addressed Apostle Madubuko’s involvement, calling for fairness and transparency in resolving the matter.

“It is important that men of God entrusted with conflict resolution approach it without bias and uphold fairness,” Eezee T stated.

He claimed that during a mediation meeting convened by Apostle Madubuko, Mercy Chinwo and Judikay were absent, leaving their representatives to demand ownership of music catalogs created under their contracts.

“According to the agreements, the company owns the music catalogs in perpetuity, and the artists are entitled to royalties. Despite this, the conversation shifted to demands for catalog ownership, which we cannot concede to,” Eezee T explained.

He also noted that an independent audit was suggested to verify financial records. “We submitted our books to Judikay’s auditors, but I am yet to see the same level of transparency from the other parties,” he added.

Eezee T accused Apostle Madubuko of avoiding his calls and failing to reschedule mediation meetings. “I visited his house twice to ensure a resolution. Each time, I was told to wait, but no meeting was ever convened,” he stated.

He also recounted being detained in Ilorin for nine days during investigations, during which his accounts were frozen, and his passport went missing. “Despite thorough investigations, no wrongdoing was found on the part of Eezee Concept,” he said.

Eezee T expressed disappointment at the accusations but reaffirmed his commitment to a fair resolution.

“Our God is a God of justice. Despite these challenges, Eezee Concept remains focused on upholding our contracts and maintaining integrity in the gospel music industry,” he concluded.
