Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has engaged in a war of words with comedian Seyi Law, alleging that Seyi Law expressed regret for supporting President Tinubu during a podcast.
Seyi Law, who vigorously campaigned for President Tinubu in the general election, initially denied the claim, but a video surfaced later showing him expressing regret for his support at a recent show.
In the video, Seyi Law echoed Eedris’s claims, stating how he had been insulted and cursed for supporting Tinubu, and how it affected his income at shows.
Eedris responded to the video, calling out Seyi Law for trying to paint him as a liar, stating, “I thought you said I was lying @seyilaw1.”
Seyi Law, in response, acknowledged his respect for Eedris but criticized him for unnecessary drama, suggesting that Eedris’s lies were driven by ego and unsolicited activism.
He warned Eedris that such actions could cost him respect and relevance.
Wuzup Nigeria has reported Seyi Law expressing support for the President,
expressing that he would vote for him again if another election were held tomorrow.
The comedian had previously apologized for his immense support for Tinubu after the election.
