A video has surfaced on social media showing Nigerian veterans Eedris Abdulkareem and Ruggedman, real name Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, putting an end to their 20-year-long feud.

The rift between the two rappers began after American rapper 50 Cent referred to Eedris Abdulkareem as the ‘best in Africa’ at the time, a comment that fueled tension.

Despite releasing a collaborative song, “Koleyewon,” the two appeared to have unresolved issues, even after the track’s release 17 years ago.

However, during an encounter at a rave club, Voyage, in Lagos, Eedris and Ruggedman finally reconciled.

The duo shared the stage for the first time and performed “Koleyewon,” much to the excitement of the fans present.

This reconciliation comes on the heels of recent controversies surrounding Eedris Abdulkareem, who had previously released a diss track about the state of the country.

The song, which featured a reference to the son of President Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, sparked a variety of reactions due to its bold political commentary.
