The Chairman of the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU) in Ondo State, Ademola-Adeniji Olapade, has urged Nigerians to obey all directives issued by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Olopade said this on Sunday in Akure in his Easter message to Christians on the occasion of the Easter celebration.
He urged Nigerians to be strong and united while helping each other in any way they could during the pandemic.
The NCSU chairman also called on the state government to assist the needy who were facing difficult times due to the coronavirus.

He stressed the need for the state government to ensure that palliative items approved by Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu got to the right people across the state.
Olapade called on all Nigerians to abstain from sin, forgive one another as Christ forgave the sins of believers on the cross of Calvary, and above all continue to live a life of prayer, penance and charity.
He also expressed appreciation to God, who out of love for mankind, sent his only beloved son to die for the salvation of humanity.
