The female hostel of University Of Abuja was on Sunday morning gutted by fire in the early hours of the day.
This was made known in the pictures shared by one of the students on social media.
It was reported that the fire which started around 1:45am was caused by sparks from an electric wire. Some of the students and residents were seen trying to put out the fire before the arrival of fire fighters, who eventually took over the scene.
